Effective Date: April 1, 2025 · Last Updated: March 17, 2026

INTRODUCTION

Precision Dental of Weston ("we," "us," or "our") is committed to protecting your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, disclose, and safeguard your information when you visit our website (the "Site"), including any SEO analytics tools, contact forms, appointment request features, and third-party integrations we use.

Please read this policy carefully. If you disagree with its terms, please discontinue use of the Site. This policy applies to information collected through our website only — it does not govern information collected in our dental office, which is covered by our HIPAA Notice of Privacy Practices provided to you at your first visit.

1. INFORMATION WE COLLECT

1.1 Information You Provide Directly

When you interact with our website — such as by submitting a contact form, requesting an appointment, or signing up for our patient newsletter — we may collect:

  • Name (first and last)

  • Email address

  • Phone number

  • Preferred appointment date and time

  • General inquiry or message content

  • Insurance provider (if entered in an online form)

We do not collect sensitive health information (such as diagnoses, treatment details, or medical history) through our website forms. Any clinical information you share in person or through our patient portal is governed separately by HIPAA.

1.2 Information Collected Automatically (SEO & Analytics Tools)

To understand how visitors find and use our website, and to improve our search engine visibility, we use standard SEO and analytics tools that automatically collect certain data when you visit the Site. This may include:

  • IP address (typically anonymized)

  • Browser type and version

  • Device type (desktop, mobile, tablet)

  • Operating system

  • Pages visited and time spent on each page

  • Referring URL (the page you visited before arriving at our Site)

  • Search terms used to find our Site

  • Geographic location (city/region level, not precise address)

  • Session duration and bounce rate

This data is collected in aggregate and is generally not linked to your personal identity unless you have also submitted a contact form during the same visit.

1.3 Cookies and Tracking Technologies

Our Site uses cookies — small text files placed on your device — and similar tracking technologies. We use the following categories of cookies:

  • Strictly Necessary Cookies: Required for the Site to function (e.g., session management). These cannot be disabled.

  • Analytics Cookies: Help us understand website traffic patterns and page performance (e.g., Google Analytics). These use anonymized data.

  • SEO & Performance Cookies: Used by tools such as Google Search Console to monitor search visibility and technical site health. No personal data is transmitted.

  • Third-Party Review Widgets: If we display Google Reviews on our Site, Google's own cookies and privacy practices apply to that embedded content.

You may control or disable non-essential cookies through your browser settings. Note that disabling cookies may affect certain Site functionality. To opt out of Google Analytics tracking specifically, you may install the Google Analytics Opt-Out Browser Add-on at tools.google.com/dlpage/gaoptout.

2. HOW WE USE YOUR INFORMATION

We use the information we collect for the following purposes:

  • Appointment Requests: To respond to your appointment or consultation inquiries and schedule your visit.

  • Communications: To reply to questions or messages you submit through the Site.

  • SEO and Website Analytics: To analyze website traffic, measure the effectiveness of our online presence, identify technical issues, and improve the content and structure of our Site for search engine visibility.

  • Patient Newsletter: If you opt in, to send occasional updates about practice news, promotions, or oral health tips. You may unsubscribe at any time.

  • Legal Compliance: To comply with applicable laws and regulations.

  • Security: To detect, prevent, and address technical issues or fraudulent activity.

We do not use your website-submitted information to make clinical decisions and do not share it with your treating providers without your consent, except as required by law.

3. THIRD-PARTY SERVICES AND SEO TOOLS

To operate our website and optimize our online visibility, we use the following third-party services. Each operates under its own privacy policy:

3.1 Google Analytics We use Google Analytics to collect anonymized data about how visitors use our Site, including pages viewed, session duration, traffic sources, and device types. Google Analytics uses cookies to collect this data. IP anonymization is enabled. Google's Privacy Policy is available at policies.google.com/privacy.

3.2 Google Search Console We use Google Search Console to monitor our Site's performance in Google Search results, identify indexing issues, and understand which search queries bring visitors to our Site. This tool does not place cookies on visitor devices. Data is visible only to our authorized administrative accounts.

3.3 Wix Website Platform Our website is hosted on Wix.com. Wix may collect technical and usage data as part of hosting our Site. Please review Wix's Privacy Policy at support.wix.com/en/article/privacy-policy for details on their data practices.

3.4 Google Business Profile & Google Reviews If we display Google Reviews or a map on our Site, this content is served by Google and subject to Google's Privacy Policy. Google may set cookies when you interact with embedded Google content.

3.5 Appointment or Contact Forms Contact forms on our Site may be processed by Wix's native form tools or a third-party scheduling integration. We will update this policy if we add additional third-party booking services that collect personal information.

We do not sell, rent, or lease your personal information to any third party for marketing purposes. We do not use your information for targeted advertising.

4. HIPAA NOTICE

  • Email marketing opt-ins: Retained until you unsubscribe or request deletion.

You may request deletion of your personal information at any time by contacting us (see Section 9).

6. DATA SECURITY

We take reasonable technical and administrative measures to protect the information collected through our Site, including:

  • SSL/TLS encryption on all web pages (HTTPS)

  • Access controls limiting who can view form submissions
